Same Book, Next Chapter.

In chapter 10, Pip told Jo that he lied about Mrs.Havasham's house. It took about 4 or 5 paragraphs for Jo to tell Pip not to lie. When Pip complained about his hands being so callused, and for his boots were too thick and that Jo had taught him to call the playing cards the wrong thing, Jo told him something like "Even the King was once a prince, with only the alphabet." It was really weird. I am totally trashing this book on accident. Well, after a while, Pip's sister tells him to go pick up Jo at the bar. When he went, there was Jo, Mr.Woplse, and a stranger. Well, they were talking, and they all got rum, and then the stranger took out a file and stirred his drink, looking at Pip. Pip had nightmares that night about a file coming through the door and he couldn't see the hand.                                    ~~~     ~~~

  1. I know this is a difficult book for you guys, but you are doing great. While there are words and phrases that you are unfamiliar with, you are getting the overall storyline. This book is causing us all to stretch in our reading and comprehending capabilities. This "stretching" beyond what we feel comfortable with is what allows us to grow and learn.I'm proud of your accomplishmnets with this book thus far.
