Summer of the Monkeys THE FINAL CHAPTER!!

In the final chapter, Jay finds all of the monkeys in the bottoms and he helps them drying them off. Jimbo saw that they ment no harm so he became Jay's friend and so they all followed him to the corncrib. When the circus guys came, Jay felt a little sad that he would never see them again. After he got all of the money, he went to jis grandpa's farm to get his poney. Grandpa made sure that it was what Jay wanted. As he was walking home, he realized that what Grandpa was trying to tell him is that he wanted Jay to pay for Daisy's operation for her leg. For about 7 months, Jay and his father were the only ones around. When Daisy and her mom came home, they were so happy, they couldn't speak for a little bit. On the very last page, it says that Daisy asked Jay if she could run with him because she has seen him run in the feilds with Roudy and it looked like fun and she has always wanted to do that. Jay had gotten a gun from Daisy, and a pony from Grandpa for making the right choice.
